live wedding painting
Please email triciabartonart@gmail.com for updated pricing information
Canvas sizes are based off of gallery wrapped canvas that does not require (but can be fit to) framing.
For a live wedding painting, I will show up to the venue 1-2 hours early to paint the “backdrop”. This allows me to get set up and “settled in” - mix my colors and paint the base for the painting on the canvas. I will paint during the event with intention to finish on site.
If the painting requires additional detail work or varnishing, I will take the painting home with me and shipping can be scheduled and paid for separately if necessary.
For weddings outside of the Charleston, SC area, I will require a travel fee & hotel accommodations.
INVITATION ART / BOUQUETS
A wedding bouquet is captured in pictures or sometimes dried out to display in the bride's home. However, some bouquets are forgotten (because a reception is too much fun!) or the flowers are thrown during the traditional tossing of the bouquet - leaving the bride with only a memory.
Let me help you (or help a friend) preserve this piece of your day by painting your bouquet - on the wedding invitation, on paper or on canvas.
Invitation: $135 Paper: $135-165 Canvas: $150+

Guestbooks
A special way to commemorate your day and remember your family and friends that shared those special moments with you and your person.
One example is what I did for my own wedding (“The Knights”)- we wanted to include our dogs so that we can remember the special role they played in our relationship for years to come. You’re able to see the before and after on the slideshow above.
Not sure where you’d hang a canvas? Another couple, The Manzis, opted to create a guestbook on corn hole boards. Their guests will sign their boards around the images of their two dogs and will be topped off with a weather-proof coating to protect them for a lifetime. (see image of the “before shot” in the slideshow above)
No pets? Include a landmark from where you got engaged, a first home, the state you met in, your favorite flowers - anything that helps define your wedding day or your relationship. The driftwood example (“The Harriss”) is actually where that bride and groom got engaged. The tree (“The Oconnors”) is where the two said “I do”.
I'm open to ideas, so reach out if you have something out of the ordinary!
